The ultimate goal of what we do at Empora, is to help farmers. Our consumers are not only purchasing high-quality natural items, but they are also supporting our objective to share the produce of developing-country farmers with the rest of the globe. Allow us to clarifyβ¦
We rise by lifting others.
Yes, we could donate to charity like other businesses, and while we still do so, we feel we can do more, In the next year we plan to start our own foundation to empower women, and low income families.
Our ideology is based on the concept of trade rather than help. While help is sometimes necessary, we think that genuine economic growth occurs via business partnerships that benefit both sides.

New Model for Business
Our goal is to develop a model for business where all parties in the chain benefit, from the farmer all the way through to our customers and their families. To this end, we are partnering with the UNDP and their Business Call to Action initiative to have our model studied and its impact measured.

So How Exactly Does This Work?

Finally, our methodology is straightforward: first, we aim to establish as close a relationship with farmers and farmer cooperatives as possible, and we work hard to ensure that they receive a fair price for their goods. Around Sri Lanka are our current partners and suppliers. While each site has its own approach, the spirit of what we’re working for is consistent and established in our sourcing and environmental policies.
We also help our partners build economically viable products from underutilized produce and help them meet international production standards. In addition, we work with worldwide partners and cooperatives to create new goods, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve and share exciting new items with clients, as well as exposing our partners to new products, trends, and markets.
In fact, this implies that farmers will be able to benefit from something that is typically lacking in poor countries: financial stability. They understand that by working with us, they will have a long-term partner who will cooperate with them in the future. As a result, they will be able to develop alongside us as we expand, and our customers will play a key role in this.

#PackedWithLove
This implies that love is weaved throughout our production chain and the quality of our natural goods for both the farmers we deal with and us at Empora. As a result, we are delighted to state that our goods are Packed With Love from farm to table.
